TANCET or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is a test which is conducted yearly to enroll students into Anna University’s master courses like MBA,M.Tech,MCA etc. It is a renowned university and, many students apply to get in.

Exam Pattern for TANCET MBA Exam –

TANCET exam pattern is common to all the courses, just the syllabus is different as the course differs.

• It is a written MCQ based paper, divided into three sections altogether.
• The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
• Section one has 30 questions, weighing one mark each and, negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
• Section two has 40 questions to answer, with 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer and, one mark alloted for every correct answer.
• Section three has 45 or 40 ( depends and changes every year) questions to answer, with 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer. One mark is alloted for every correct answer.
• For MBA, one has to attempt – English, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude and Data Interpretation.
