So much of A Million Little Things Season 5 Episode 1 hit that sweet spot that makes this show so good, cute, and heartwarming, and there’s something to be said about the show finding its footing and focusing on what it does best for its last season.
The family feels more united and loving than ever, which is probably why the first episode made people cry before it had even been on for five minutes. Those went on until the end of the movie. Oh, for sure, A Million Little Things is back.
The hero of the hour is definitely James Roday Rodriguez, who played a calmer, more cautiously hopeful version of Gary as he faces the unknown about his health, his future with Maggie and their child, and whatever else life has in store for him and his family.
But when his father died, he was at his best, especially when he told a story about snowball fights and stolen index cards with such passion that you wondered if it was real to the actor himself.
And you hung on to every word and picture he told you until his voice broke and he started to cry, which shook you to your core.
People appreciate Roday Rodriguez’s range and underrated talent most when he isn’t playing the standard Gary who cracks jokes and hides behind humor. It’s in these moments that you can really see how much he can do.
At the beginning of the hour, when Javier is helping Gary through his chemotherapy, you can’t help but smile.

People say that friendship isn’t one big thing, but a million little things. This is true for a group of friends from Boston who became close because of something that didn’t make sense. Some have done well in life, while others are having trouble with their jobs and relationships, but they all feel stuck.
When one of them dies suddenly, it gives the others the push they need to start living. Along the way, they learn that sometimes friends are the only thing that can save them from themselves.

A Million Little Things: Season 2
Having friends isn’t a big deal. It’s a bunch of small things. When our good friend Jon, who was perfect on paper, killed himself, it was up to his family and friends to pick up the pieces. Each of these friends is not living the life they thought they would be living. And their friend’s death makes them look at the choices they’ve made and try to figure out what was going on with a man they thought they knew.
Delilah is now Sophie and Danny’s only parent. She must help them get over the death of their father while keeping a big secret of her own. Even though she and Eddie aren’t having an affair anymore, she is about to have his baby, which will be a constant reminder of what they did.

In season three of A Million Little Things, our family faced problems that were similar to the ones we faced in real life. Our group of friends had to deal with a global pandemic and a huge push for social change. This was new and difficult territory for them. In season four, we’ll see our group help each other deal with life’s unpredictable curveballs in ways that are inspiring and uplifting.
When we last saw Eddie, he was fighting for joint custody of his son while using a wheelchair. Just as he starts to feel like things are getting back to normal and he is becoming more independent, he gets a strange phone call from the woman who hit him, which threatens to turn his world upside down again. Will Eddie learn to let go and accept his new life, or will he go back to doing things that hurt him?
Katherine finally steps out from under the shadow of her marriage and lets herself find out who she is and, more importantly, who she wants to be. Katherine’s journey of self-discovery takes her to some surprising new places as she avoids labels and learns to live without the word “should” in her vocabulary.

In A Million Little Things, who plays Delilah?
Since the first episode of “A Million Little Things” aired on ABC in the fall of 2018, one of the main characters has been Delilah Dixon (Stéphanie Szostak). After all, the sudden and mysterious death of her husband, Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston), was what started this family drama series to show that people can deal with anything as long as they have good friends and family.
So, when Stéphanie wasn’t seen in part of the third episode of Delilah, people thought she had left the show. But part of this was shown in the first episode of Season 4. We know everything about it!
Delilah gets a call telling her that her loving father has had a stroke and might not even make it through the night. She has to leave her family again because she needs to be there to take care of him for as long as he has left.
Her son Danny agrees to go with her for a while, but Delilah almost seems to want to move for good. Delilah said that she feels more like herself in France than she has anywhere else since her husband, Jon, killed himself. There, no one can judge her or tell her what to do.

ABC got a put pilot commitment for a show called “A Million Little Things” on August 18, 2017. DJ Nash would write the show, and he, Aaron Kaplan, and Dana Honor would be executive producers.
ABC Studios and Kapital Entertainment are in charge of making the show. During the TCA press tour on February 5, 2019, the second season of A Million Little Things was announced.
In October 2018, a full season of 17 episodes was ordered for the show.

DJ Nash came up with A Million Little Things. On August 9, 2017, he told ABC about the show. The show was picked up by the network on August 18, 2017, with a put pilot commitment. Nash was the show’s writer and executive producer. Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor from Kapital Entertainment were also named as executive producers.
The title of the show comes from the saying “Friendship isn’t a big thing—a it’s million little things.” It was said to be “in the style of The Big Chill.” Nash said that A Million Little Things was his first hour-long project and that he got the idea for it after working on Losing It. He also said that the show was based on a personal experience.
