After an absence of over a year, Lita made her way back to WWE and appeared on RAW to support Becky Lynch in the Steel Cage Match she was competing in against Bayley.
She then proceeded to slam the cage door in Bayley’s face, and during the climactic moment, Lynch caught her opponent in a Manhandle Slam while Bayley was still disoriented.
The WWE Hall of Famer was a significant influence on Big Time Becks’ decision to seek a career with the company.
Last year at the Elimination Chamber event, when Lynch defeated Lita to retain the RAW Women’s Championship, it was a moment that served as a symbolic “passing of the torch” for both superstars.

Becky Lynch Will Receive Assistance From Lita
Backstage, early in the evening, an interview with Lynch took place. She claimed that while she and Bayley were both in NXT, Bayley attempted to advance her career by associating herself with anyone who have the potential to become a source of income.
On the other hand, Lynch kicked up doors and punched people in the face in order to achieve where she is now.
After that, Lynch stated that she had one hand left to play and that she could have to play it during the main event of the cage match.
As was to be expected, Damage CTRL was present at the event, although Dakota Kai was hobbling around on crutches due to the assault that Lynch had committed the previous week.
Although it was possible to win the bout through submission, pinfall, or getting out of the cage, the two ladies focused more on getting out of the cage than they did on finishing the match off in the ring.
IYO Sky climbed the cage in order to stop Lynch from escaping while the match was on the verge of being won by Lynch. In the midst of the mayhem, Kai gave Bayley one of her crutches, which she then utilized in her assault on Lynch.
Before things could get any worse, Lita’s music started playing, and the WWE Hall of Famer stepped out to the ring.
She eliminated Damage CTRL and slammed the cage door on Bayley. After that, Lynch finished the match by delivering a Manhandle Slam to Bayley.
The actual match could have benefited from a little bit more time as it appeared to be slightly rushed and a significant portion of it was cut off during a commercial break.
Having said that, Lynch and Bayley did a respectable job considering the constraints of the time they had available to work with.
The return of Lita was a pleasant surprise, but it could be met with some resistance from fans as a result of their dissatisfaction with the lack of legendary female wrestlers competing in the women’s Royal Rumble.
Despite this, it will be fascinating to observe the progression of a significant plot during WrestleMania season that involves Lita’s participation.
