A fresh new fan has recently joined the ranks of those who root for the Nashville Predators. The ice hockey player Matt Duchene and his wife, Ashley, have become parents to a daughter.
On social media, they shared the first photo of the newborn as well as her name (Jaymes Olivia Duchene), which generated enthusiasm among the admirers.

Matt Duchene: Biography
NHL All-Star center who was picked to play in his first All-Star game in 2011 while playing for the Colorado Avalanche. He was also named to the first team of the All-Rookie team in 2010, the year he entered the league. The year 2017 saw his debut with the Ottawa Senators.
Matthew Duchene is a Canadian professional ice hockey center who currently plays for the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League. He is a member of the Nashville Predators organization (NHL).
He began his professional career with the Colorado Avalanche and went on to play for the Ottawa Senators and the Columbus Blue Jackets in the National Hockey League. In the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, the Avalanche selected Duchene third overall to provide him the opportunity to play for their team.

- At the 2008 World U-17 Hockey Challenge, Duchene made his first appearance on the international stage. He played in all six of Team Ontario’s games, scoring ten points to help them win the gold medal.
- In the same year, he was named to Canada’s under-18 team for the 2008 IIHF World U18 Championships in April and was selected as captain at the 2008 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in August; he won gold at both tournaments.
- In addition, he was a member of Canada’s under-18 team that won gold at the 2008 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
