The Senegalese winger was at his peak at Rennes, where he scored 18 goals and assisted on 16 others in 77 games.

On April 27, 2019, Rennes defeated French powerhouse PSG 6-5 in a penalty shootout to win the Coupe de France; the Senegalese player contributed by shooting his team’s sixth penalty, before PSG’s Christopher Nkunku missed to give Rennes the win. On August 8, 2019, he travelled to England to sign for Premier League club Watford in a £30 million transfer, making his debut later that month in a 3-1 loss to West Ham United.

Sarr grew up loving football and dreamed to be a professional football player. He worked hard to make his goal a reality. Sarr’s playing career began with Generation Foot. In 2016, he signed his first professional deal as a football player, with FC Metz.
