F1 Race

 US Grand Prix 2015

• Defending champion Lewis Hamilton of Britain 2015 won United States Grand Prix title of Formula One for the fourth time on October 25, 2015. This was his 10th victory of the season. Earlier, he had won Australia, China,Bahrain, Canada, United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, Japanese and Russian 2015 Grand Prix titles.

• Hamilton now has an unbeatable total of 327 points, moving him beyond the reach of both Rosberg, who finished second, and four-time champion Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, who came home third.

• Hamilton’s this success enabled him to equal the record of Jackie Stewart as the only Britons to win three drivers’ world titles and the first to win two championships in succession. Earlier, he had won it in 2007, 2012 and 2014.

Russian Grand Prix 2015

• Lewis Hamilton from Britain, the Mercedes driver has won 2015 Russian Grand Prix title of Formula One on October 11, 2015. This was his overall ninth victory of the season.

• Earlier he had won Australia, China, Bahrain, Canada, United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy and Japanese 2015 Grand Prix titles of F1. He is currently 5th on the all-time list of FI with 41 wins.

• 2015 Russian Grand Prix race that took place over fifty-three laps and was held at the Sochi Autodrom. This race was overall the , Sh fifteenth round of the 2015 season.

Badminton

 Denmark Open 2015

• The Denmark Open tournament was started in 1935 and is considered as one of the oldest Badminton tournament. It is played “rsl annually in Denmark. It is formerly known as Danish Open and is organised by Danmarks Badminton Forbund.

Dutch Open Grand Prix 2015

• Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram beat Estonia’s Raul Must in the finals played at Almere in the Netherlands to defend his men’s singles title at the $ 50000 Dutch Open Grand Prix on October 11, 2015. This is the second achievement in this season after he had won silver medal in 2015’Korea Open Badminton tournament in men’s singles category. Now, he deafened this title because he had won it earlier in 2014.

• In October, 2014, Jayaram had won his maiden Dutch Open GP title and was the first Indian to win badminton Grand Prix tournament under the new 11×5 scoring system. He has also won 3 international badminton titles namely New Zealand Open in 2009, Thailand Open in 2010 and Czech Open in 2013.

Chess

FIDE World Cup 2015

• Russia’s Sergey Kaijakin has won in the final match of 2015 World Cup Chess Championship held at Baku, Azerbaijan by defeating Peter Svidler from Russia with a score of 6-4.

• Thus, Karjakin and Svidler joined 5-time World Champion Viswanathan Anand of India, Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria and American duo of Fabiano Caruana and Hikaru Nakamura in the line-up for the Candidates tournament to decide the challenger for Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the next world championship.
• Sergey Kaijakin holds the record for the world’s youngest Grandmaster, at the age of 12 years and 7 months. He won the 2012 World Rapid Chess Championship and the Chess World Cup 2015. He also won the Norway Chess Tournament twice i.e., in 2013 and 2014 and the Corus Chess Tournament in 2009.
