SSC Constable GD Syllabus 2017 Staff Selection Commission will conduct written exam for Constables in CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam rifles. The test will be both offline and online mode. The Commission will conduct written examination of candidates qualified in PST/PET in both online (Computer based) and Offline (Paper mode) mode. A large number of candidates appears for this exam every year. Those interested candidates who want to clear this exam should prepare according to the syllabus and should focus on the exam.
SSC Constable GD Exam Pattern 2017:
The exam will be of 100 marks consisting 100 question, i.e. 1 marks for each question and the exam will be of objective type.

General Intelligence & Reasoning:
Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. Analogy, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge Current Affairs
Questions are asked to check how much candidate is aware of the facts around him and the current affairs going every day. Questions are designed in such a way to test the knowledge of the candidate about the events and news happening in the world.
Elementary Mathematics:
Questions from Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
