Gujarat PSC AE Test Pattern

To apply for the post of assistant engineer, candidates are required to pass the written test for GPSC AE. The test will consist of objective-type questions i.e. there will be multiple options provided and only one of them will be the correct answer.

The GPSC AE exam is divided into two parts: A and B. Part A is the General ability test and part B is Civil Engineering Test.

The general ability part consists of 100 questions And a total of 100 marks. The medium of this part is Gujarati. The Civil Engineering part consists of 100 questions comprising a total of 200 marks (each question carries 2 marks) and is in medium English.

In total, the test is of 300 marks.

Applicants are selected based on their performance in the written test followed by an interview.
