For China’s ‘Rhodes’ scholarship Two Indian students qualify
On Saturday two students were among the elected group of 110 scholars were presented. They were presented as the first class of China’s much anticipated new Rhodes program; the Schwartzman Scholars   hosted at the prestigious Tsinghai University. Rhodes programmed is named after Blackstone Group chairman Stephen Schwartzman. The programmed will be organized by Chinese economist Li Daokui Programmed will help the students globally to understand China better, says Schwarzman. Main purpose for this program is to help China’s educational institutions become more international. The two Indian students are Akshay Shah, 24, from Bengaluru and Anurag Chandran, 21, a degree holder of the University of Missouri and an Indian national rose in the UAE. Out of 110 students, around 50 are belongs to the United States – the most from any other country – while 20 are from China. There are many scholars all around from Latin America, Europe and Africa, and from Nepal in South Asia.

Glen Maxwell jumps to third position, Virat Kohli remains on top
India star Virat Kohli remains at the top position in latest T20 batsman ranking while Glen Maxwell take a huge jump to reach a carrier –best third position. In the batsman’s rankings, Maxwell, gained the 16 place. Kohli is placed with 820 points but the Maxwell is moved to 763 points, just eight less the Finch. The volatile Australian batsman has also gush to the all rounder’s list. The ICC T20I teams ranking Australia has gained one slot to reach fifth rank. It moved from 110to 114 to go past England which has slipped from 116 to 113 after its loss to Pakistan.

‘Degrees will go Digital’: Prakash Javadekar
The HRD Ministry is now functioning toward the making the format of degrees digital. This will be available from the academic year of 2017.Student will also get the opportunity to put other awards which he has won earlier on it after the full and proper authentication. At Rio Paralympics Mariyappan Thangavelu wins the historic gold
Mariyappan Thangavelu and Varun Bharti made history as they grasp the gold and bronze medals. Thangavelu gold medal is the India’s first medal in the Paralympics .He also became the first who win the gold medal in the Paralympics high jump event, thanks to his best jump of 1.89 meter while the Bharti registered 1.86m.Silver medal went to the Grewe who also has the same jump as of Bharti of 1.86m.
Both Mariyappan and Bharti will get the reward money of Rs 75 lakh and Rs 30 lakh respectively on the basis of Sports Ministry Cash Reward Scheme. Many athlete move towards twitter to congratulates the medal winners.
