Delhi – Mumbai trial run complete at 150 km /hour by Talgo Train
The Indian Railways is establishing a new platform to reduce time lag between their journeys. Spanish- made Talgo train completed its final trial successfully. Train successively achieved the target within 12 hours. On Saturday, train left Delhi station at 2:45 pm and reached Mumbai station at 2:34am. The distance between Delhi and Mumbai is 1400 kms. Rajdhani Express is the fastest train that takes 16 hours to complete the journey between between two cities. The Talgo train can hit up to 200 kms per hour. The train comprises  of nine coaches including two executive class cars, four chair cars, a cafeteria, a power car and a tail-end coach for staff and equipment.
Under GST authority CBEC to be renamed as CBIT
The Government plans to settle an Indirect tax Goods and Services Tax (GST) from April 1 next year. Apex indirect tax body CBEC (Central Board of Excise and Customs) will be now be called as the Central Board of Indirect Tax (CBIT) once the new national tax framework kicks in from April1 2017, as per the draft dealing in GST organizational structure prepared by the Centre. CBIT will consist of six members, who will look after policy, customs, and IT, central excise and legal issues, training and litigation.
On brawling cricketers no action taken in Tamil Nadu Premier League
Under the ICC Code of Conduct, physical violence on the cricket field is a Level 4Â Â an illegal act and players could be banned for one year or even life.Â
Two days after R Sai Kishore and Jagadeesan Narayan were tangled in an on-field fight during a Tamil Nadu Premier League match, no action has been taken yet on the players by the BCCI. India international spinner, R Ashwin was at the non-striker’s end and he immediately take part in so as to prevent further actions, asking his teammate to move aside. Ashwin’s experience and actions may have protected his teammate Narayan from crossing the line himself.
After washing ashore in Maharashtra 47- feet long blue whale rescued
A 47-feet-long blue whale, the relatively greater size mammal in the world, was rescued after it was beached near village Madban, near adjacent to Jaitapur nuclear power plant in Ratnagiri district on Sunday morning. Approximate to weigh around 20 tonnes, the whale breaks for over two days. Local fishermen spotted the mammal on Saturday evening and give notice to forest officers. On Sunday morning, two boats with 50 personnel move out the rescue operation over eight hours by trail the mammal into the sea with the help of ropes during high tide.
283 phones, 23 pieces of gold ornaments and 43 lakh Rs Lost and Found among MetrosÂ
A whopping Rs 43 lakh in cash, 283 mobile phones and 79 laptops were among the goods and chattels left behind by a person who travel some distance to work on regular basis  while travelling in the Delhi Metro till August this year, according to the rail network’s ‘lost and found’ data. As per data prepared by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the security force duty to protect the Metro network, a total of Rs 43, 18,155 in unremembered cash was found by its personnel apart from foreign currency monetary value over Rs 26,000 and bank cheques or drafts price over Rs 40.85 lakh.Besides that, 79 laptops, 23 pieces of gold ornaments, 283 laptops, 63 watches, 9 digital cameras and as many tablet phones were found from the Delhi Metro from January to August this year.
