14th Vijay Hazare Trophy
1) Gujarat won the 14th season of Vijay Hazare Cricket Trophy for season 2015-16 in the final match played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru (Karnataka) by defeating Delhi in 139 runs. Gujarat won for first time in its history.
2) Gujarat scored 273 and all out in 50 overs where Parthiv Patel scored 105, Rujul Bhatt scored 60 and Pawan Negi took 2/36, Navdeep Saini took 2/46). They beat Delhi all out in 32.3 overs with a score of 134.
3) Vijay Hazare trophy is an annual limited-overs cricket domestic competition started in 2002-03 and is played among State teams from the Ranji Trophy plates. The trophy is also known as the Ranji One Day Trophy and is named after the famous Indian cricketer Vijay Hazare.

Indian Super League (Season 2)
1) Chennaiyin FC had beaten FC Goa in the 2nd edition Indian Super League final at Nehru Stadium in Fatorda (Goa) with a score of 3-2 on December 20, 2015. Chennaiyin FC is owned by Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Vita Dani and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan.

FIFA Club World Cup 2015
1) Barcelona FC has won the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup for the 3rd time on December 20, 2015 in the final match played at International Stadium Yokoham in Japan by defeating River Plate FC by 3-0 goals.
2) Earlier Barcelona FC had won the FIFA Club World Cup in 2009 and 2011 and it is their fifth trophy of season 2015. The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup was won by Corinthians FC of Brazil. FIFA World Champions Badge portrayed both the respective tournament trophy and the year of the edition.
3) The FIFA Club World Cup (established in 2000) is an international men’s football competition organised by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). It was formerly known as the FIFA Club World Championship.

Hockey World League 2015
1) World champions Australia defeated Belgium with a score of 2-1 in the final and become the champions of the Hero Hockey World League (HWL) Finals at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Stadium in Raipur on December 6, 2015.
2) India was placed at third place in this league after defeating world number two and defending champions Netherlands by 3-2 goals in the penalty shoot-out.
3) Australia, India (Host), Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Argentina, Netherlands and Canada are totally 8 teams that were participated.
Shooting
59th National Championships
1) Apurvi Chandela won the women’s gold in air rifle in the 59th National shooting championship on December 15, 2015.
2)Â She won the gold medal in 10 m air rifle event in women’s category by shooting 207.8 score in the finals.
3) Geetakshi Dixit clinched the silver, one point behind Apurvi. Anjum Moudgil stumbled with shots of 9.6 and 9.9 that left her clutching the bronze medal.
4) In the men’s rifle 3-position event, Chain Singh pipped Gagan Narang by 1.6 points for the gold.
5) Earlier, Olympic silver medallist Vijay Kumar, with a score of 588, pipped Gurpreet Singh by two points and won the centre fire pistol gold in the 59th National shooting championship at the Dr. Kami Singh Range, Tughlajcabad, on December 13, 2015.
